About Us

Our service station, located next to the Swanson Railway Station, is at the foothills of the Waitakeres and on the way to the popular West Coast beaches.
The business has been in operation for more than 30 years, and has been under the present management for just over four years.

Some of our staff members have worked here for more than seven years and are known to the local community by name. We have always provided forecourt service to the local community and pride ourselves on being a true 'Service Station' not just another gas station.

Customers are welcome to come and check out our shop, our friendly staff would love to see and serve you.

Swanson is a mix of largely semi-rural and urban communities and this variance is reflected in our customer base. We cater to customers ranging from DoC employees, bee keepers and saddle makers to hair stylists, dentists and bank managers.

During the summer months we see an influx of people heading to the wonderful West Coast beaches but our lifeline is our local customer base.

We are proud to sponsor programmes at the local Swanson School (which happens to be the school the manager's kids go to) and Ranui Primary school, at our local Redwood Park Golf Club and for special needs children at the local Crystal Mountain Park.

While their vehicles are being filled up by our staff, people often check out our notice board which is always full with advertisements for local, small businesses and social events in the area.

We are the collection/drop off point for Courier services and Rural Post and people come here to pick up and drop off their parcels.

In addition to this, we have 'informal' drop off requests from people dropping off stuff to be picked by family members later on. This interaction has helped our staff to have a personal relationship with our community.
