EXISTING CUSTOMER PASSWORD RESET

If you haven’t logged into your account before, you will need to do a password reset before you can login via the app:

  • Tap on 'Sign in' and then on 'Forgot Password', enter your email address (if not auto-populated) and you'll be asked to set a new password. You’ll receive an email with a confirmation code – enter this on screen. You'll then be able to sign in.
  • Or contact us with your email address and card number and we will do a password reset for you. Once your password has been reset you’ll be able to login via the App.

UNABLE TO FIND THE CHALLENGE APP IN AN THE APP STORE

  • If you are unable to find the Challenge app in the app store, this is likely to be a profile setting issue with the country your profile is set to.

ADDING YOUR GOVERNMENT ISSUED SUPERGOLD CLIENT NUMBER

  • This step is only required for new members joining My Challenge for the first time. Our App validates your details with the Government SuperGold database.
  • When entering your Gold card number, only enter the numbers (do not enter the spaces).
  • Once processed, a digital My Challenge SuperGold card is added to your account. This information does not get stored in the app as it is only used to verify your eligibility for the SuperGold member discount.

SCANNING YOUR APP QR CODE

  • Tap on the small thumbnail QR code, and a larger one will appear.
  • Present this to the cashier to be scanned.

SELECTING A DIFFERENT CARD

  • Your linked cards can be scrolled through at the top of the app screen. 
  • Scroll through to select a different card.

SUPERGOLD MY CHALLENGE DISCOUNT

  • Our minimum SuperGold discount is 8c per litre, however some South Island stores offer up to 12c off per litre. 
  • To ensure you see the available SuperGold discount in your area, ensure you enable geo-location on the app.

INVALID EMAIL ERROR

  • If your device is auto-populating the login fields, check there are no extra spaces at the end of your email address or the password, as the system requires it to match our database exactly.


ONE-OFF 25C PER LITRE FUEL DISCOUNT

How does the discount get applied to my account?

  • The discount is automatically applied when you have logged into the App for the first time.

Can I get the 25c discount if I don’t download the app?

  • No sorry – this offer is only available for My Challenge customers who download the Challenge App.

The 25c discount isn’t showing on my App.

  • If you received the success notification confirming your discount is ready, it has been applied to your account. Try tapping on ‘Enable geolocation’ and this should refresh the discount.

I went to use my discount but it has disappeared.

  • This sometimes happens if the transaction hasn’t been completed after your card is scanned. Ask the cashier to manually apply the discount. Or contact us with your email address and we can take a look and manually apply one if eligible.
